Tri-State Veterinary Medical Group was founded in 1954 by Dr. Francis A. Simpson. At that time, the tri-state area was mostly farmland, with a small river town at its center. Our patients were primarily dairy cattle and other farm animals.

In March 1998, the practice was moved from Neversink Drive (the Horn Road) to its present location on Jersey Avenue, overlooking the beautiful Delaware River. Our 5,000 square foot building accommodates multiple examination rooms, a surgery suite, radiology center (with ultrasonography), and pharmacy, laboratory and treatment and hospitalization areas.

Over the years, we have developed into mainly a small animal practice. Our staff consists of five veterinarians, fully trained and licensed technicians and a very caring and compassionate support staff. We focus on continuing education and maintaining high quality medical and surgical techniques. Tri-State Veterinary Medical Group is very proud of the care that we provide our very loyal clientele.
